Guys, I can't believe it's only October, and we're already dealing with our first snowfall of the year!!! The last couple of days have been absolutely crazy, as our wonky weather system first brought in huge amounts of rain that almost flooded large areas of our city, then high winds that caused a big tree in our yard to collapse near our house (and we're really thankful that no one was injured in the process!), and finally, the first snowfall of the year, that's almost turned into blizzard conditions. Combine that with the fact that my whole family's been doing dealing with some massive stress and drama right now, and ugh, it's no wonder that all I've felt like doing lately is curling up in my favorite reading spot with some awesome books. It's finally Friday guys! And I'd planned to be sharing a review of an arc I recently finished today, but alas, that's just not going to happen. Unfortunately, the small cold that I developed in Disney World has turned into a full fledged sinus infection, thanks largely in part to the plane ride home, and I just don't feel I'd be able to give the review the attention and consideration it deserves while I'm feeling like this. Happy October guys! I always find myself enjoying the month of October as I love fall, Thanksgiving, the leaves turning beautiful colors, work starting to slow down a bit, and everything being pumpkin flavored. Even though I'm not a fan of Halloween, October is definitely one of my favorite months of the year, and I'm definitely excited to get started on my October TBR pile. However, before I do that, I really want to share my September 2016 wrap up with all of you guys! September was a bit of a bad reading month for me. Hey guys!            I always find after returning from vacations that it takes me literally forever to upload and edit all the pictures.  As such, I haven't shared too much on my blog about our trip yet, but I decided today would be a good day to share the haul of all the goodies I brought back from our fabulous time in Disney World. We didn't end up buying nearly as much as we usually do, thanks to the low Canadian dollar right now, but I'm very happy with the things I did pick up.  First, we returned from the theme parks one night to find a gorgeous arrangement from Disney floral and gifts in our room. One of our amazing friends sent us this as a surprise for our anniversary and it's gorgeous. It came with sparkling cider, trail mix and crackers that we enjoyed while we were there, and we brought the chocolates, flutes and this gorgeous tray that I can't wait to find a spot for, home with us. Hello all my fellow readers. I'm hoping to be back on track with my regular Top 5 Wednesday posts next week, but this week instead I'm actually going to be doing a fun tag post, originally from Life Of A Female Bibliophile's blog, who's one of my all time favorite book bloggers. Happy Monday Guys! I hope you all had an awesome weekend. :) Neil and I had a really good weekend actually, and enjoyed getting to catch up around the house, spend some downtime reading and playing board games, and I was happy to have had some time to do some baking that I've been wanting to do for awhile.
