Happy Halloween Guys!  I hope you're all having a fabulous holiday. I'm currently rocking my rt d2 costume, and getting ready to hand out candy to trick or treaters.  I've finally emerged from my reading slump, and I can tell you that I'm feeling a whole lot better too. :) It seemed only fitting that the book that pulled me out my slump was one of the ones I'd been the most highly anticpating reading from my TBR shelf, and that was, The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak. If you haven't read my RT Booklovers recap posts, I had the pleasure of getting to meet Ali at RT, and she's one of my all time favorite authors. I had told her several times throughout the week that her novel My Life With The Walter Boys is one of my all time favorites, and she surprised me with giving me an arc of her currently available novel, The Heartbreakers.  I honestly can't wait to share my review of this awesome novel with all of you guys, so let's go ahead and get start...

Can you believe it's already almost November guys? It's crazy to think that Christmas will be here in less than two months, and that soon we will be saying bye to fall, and hello to winter. I have to say though that November is going to be an awesome month for book releases! There's so many awesome books being released, and I'm seriously wishing my husband didn't already enforce his annual "no buying books so close to Christmas" book ban, because otherwise I'd have quite a few sitting in my cart on Indigo right now. Hey guys, I hope you're all having a great week, and discovering lots of amazing books. :) As I've mentioned in my last couple of posts, I've definitely been having a rough time lately, and so in honor of that, I decided to do a book recommendations post. I thought now would be the perfect time to share some of my favorite books to read when I'm feeling down, and I'd love to hear any of your recommendations as well. 1) The Magic In Manhattan Series by Sarah Mlynowski: First, let's start out with a comedic recommendation. If I'm a tad down, and I'm in a need of a book that will have me laughing outright, Sarah Mlynowski's Magic In Manhattan series is always a good choice. Rachel's shallow, and a tad selfish personality always lead to hilarious results, thrown in some magic for good measure, and this is a book that I honestly think could brighten anyone's day. Hey guys! It's Monday, and as I mentioned in my last post, I've been having a bit of a rough week. I've been dealing with some stuff that's had me pretty down, and literally all I've felt like doing is working or doing housework. I haven't picked up a book in about five days, which is really unusual for me, and I've also not really had the TV or my computer on in that time, other than for working on my blog. I know that everyone goes through tough times, and that in the end, I'm sure it makes us stronger, but it's definitely been a time in my life that I hope I never have to repeat. I feel I so rarely go through reading slumps, that it's always weird when I finally do, but I know I will eventually find my way back to my beloved books, as let's face it guys, books have and will always be a huge part of my life.
