Hello Bookish Friends :) I hope you're all having a great week so far, and I want to thank you all for joining me here today on The Preppy Book Princess. Last October I had done a blog post that I titled Checking Back On My Very First Book Haul . It consisted of me looking back at the very first book haul I ever posted on my blog, and evaluating just how many of the books listed in that haul I'd actually read. I've gotten a little better in the last year or two at not constantly buying books all the time, especially where the used bookstores or Book Outlet are concerned. I still buy books regularly, but I don't tend to do the huuuge book hauls like I used to when I first started this blog. Hello Friends :) I'm Kirby, and welcome back (or welcome for the first time ) to The Preppy Book Princess. For as long as I can remember, I've loved watching reading vlogs on YouTube. I adore seeing the behind the scenes progress of people's reading habits, and I love when they also include a look into their everyday life beyond reading and filming. So today I felt inspired by all the reading vlogs I've been watching, and I decided to introduce a brand new feature on my blog that I'm titling My Bookish Life . Happy Friday Everyone :) Does anyone else feel like this was the longest week ever? We had a lot of big changes happen in our lives this week, and maybe that's why it felt to me like it dragged on and on. Hello Bookish Friends :) Thank you all for joining me today here on The Preppy Book Princess. A lot of people tend to be surprised when they hear that I really love Star Wars. I have no idea why this is the case, as it's something I talk about quite often, but alas, it still seems to surprise people. However, I tend to love a side of Star Wars that a lot of fans don't. I actually really enjoy all the new movies, I really enjoyed The Clone Wars movie, and two of my favorite characters are R2D2 and Ahsoka Tano. At the time I didn't realize it was the second book in the series, and after finding that fact out, I always meant to go back and read the first book.
