Love Finds You in Paradise, Pennsylvania by Loree Lough Review

Hello Friends :) I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Have any of you guys read any of the titles from the multi author Love Finds You series? I haven't had the opportunity to read a ton of them, but I've really enjoyed all the ones I have. I often find these harder to get my hands on nowadays, and I'm always excited when I stumble upon one of them at my used bookstore, the library or on the Libby app. You can check out all the reviews of the ones I've read and reviewed previously using the links below: Love Finds You in Mackinac Island, Michigan by Melanie Dobson Love Finds You in Frost, Minnesota by Judy Baer Today's review is one I'm excited to share with you all because on top of it being another title from this beloved series, it's also an Amish fiction title which are always some of my favorites.   Good Morning Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and that your week is off to a great start. Mine started out a little earlier than I planned, as neither of my cat's wanted to let me sleep, but that's okay, as it just means I have more time to get my list of things done for today. One of the first items on that list is to tell you all about a new book that I just finished that's releasing at the beginning of May. I'm really looking forward to today's review, as this book was really unlike anything I'd ever read before, and I can't wait to tell you all about it. Keep reading below for my full review. Knit or Dye Trying by Allie Pleiter Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? I'm going to be working quite a bit of it, but I also hope to get some more cleaning done around my house, play a board game with my husband, and curl up with some really great books. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you'd probably know that Allie Pleiter is one of my all time favorite Love Inspired authors. So when I heard that she was writing a cozy mystery series, I couldn't have been more excited. However, when I read the first book, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Still enjoyable, but not a new favorite. You can check out that review below: On Skein of Death. However, I really did enjoy a lot of the characters and the setting, so I was looking forward to giving another one of the titles in the series a try. Keep reading below to see w...

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett Review

Hello Everyone :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I've been mentioning quite a bit on my blog the last year that I'm kind of burned out on a lot of the newer releases. I barely touch new secular fiction anymore, as honestly the content is slightly appalling, and many new Christian fiction titles have disappointed me with the amount of unnecessary content being included within those as well. I've really been craving some good ole fashioned books, when the world was a much simpler place, and fiction was definitely cleaner, and as such, I've been enjoying working my way through some of the children's classics, most of which I'd read before but have really been enjoying getting to reread. Today I'm excited to share my review of one of these titles with you all. The Secret Garden by Frances  Hodgson Burnett: Source: Bought for Myself Publisher: Penguin Gr...

A Rose for the Resistance by Angela K. Couch Review

Happy Friday Friends :) I pray your weekend is off to a great start, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. I'm excited to move past the events of this week, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things at work, at home, and here on my blog. If you've been reading my blog for awhile, then you probably are well aware that I love World War II fiction. It's one of my all time favorite historical fiction eras, and I've lost count of just how many books I've read set during this time over the years. However, I have to be honest that the last little while I've ended up reading quite a few I didn't enjoy. I was desperately searching for another great title within this genre, and I was hopeful that today's book might be it. Keep reading for a full review of a book from a new to me author and a new to me series. A Rose for the Resistance by Angela K. Couch: Source: Publisher v...

The Spark of Love by Amanda Cabot Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess. This week is a really tough one for me. I don't want to go into details, as I'm not comfortable doing so, but it's definitely a week that has me anxious, and needing to lean into Jesus more than ever. I'm not sure how my blog posts are going to go for the rest of the week because of everything going on, so I wanted to make sure that I got this one out for all you guys today. Last year, I finally read my first Amanda Cabot novel, and I instantly fell in love with her writing.  The book I ended up reading was the second in a series, and I immediately went back and read the first. I've been anxiously awaiting the release of the third book ever since, and it's finally here! If you'd like to check out my reviews of the first two books, you can check out the links below: Out of the Embers Dreams Rekindled ...
