Blogmas Day Three: The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

Hello Everyone :)

I hope you're doing well, and I thank you for joining me for day three of Blogmas 2017!

I apologize for today's post going up so much later than the previous two days did. My family and I were out of town for of the day today to attend a Christmas production at a Bible college that we try and take in every year, but my post is now here ready to go for you all.

I always like to include a couple of book tags in my Blogmas series, and I thought today would be a great day to post one. This particular tag is called the Joy of Christmas Tag, and it was created by Samantha from Novels and Nonsense on Youtube.

1) Anticipation: The Christmas excitement is real: what books release(s) are you most anticipating?

Say You'll Remember Me by Katie Mcgarry! I can't wait to read this one, and I'm so happy it's releasing at the start of the year so that I don't have to wait too much longer to read it.

2) Christmas songs and carols: What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?

I have to go with two answers for this one. In the YA market, I'm literally always raving about Kasie West's books, and in the inspirational fiction market, I'm doing the same with Becky Wade.

3) Gingerbread Houses: What book or series has wonderful world building?

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, and Graceling by Kristin Cashore.

4) A Christmas Carol: Favorite Classic or one you want to read?

I absolutely love Little Women. It's without a doubt my favorite classic.

5) Christmas Sweets: What Book Would You Love to receive for Christmas:

Ooooo so many to choose from, but I'd especially love to receive Paper Hearts by Ali Novak.

6) Candles in the window: What book gives you the warm fuzzy feelings?

Once again there's so many I could choose from, but one of my all time favorite stories to read this time of year is A Texas Legacy Christmas by Diann Mills.

7) Christmas Trees and Decorations: What are some of your favorite book covers?

I loved the cover change for the Anna and the French Kiss books by Stephanie Perkins, and I especially love the covers for the Firebird series by Claudia Gray.

8) Christmas Joy: What are some of your favorite things about Christmas/and or/ some of your favorite Christmas memories?

My favorite thing about Christmas is getting to spend time with my loved ones celebrating the birth of Jesus, and truly taking the time to remember the reason for the reason. Two of the things I look forward to all year are getting to attend the Christmas production we go to at the start of December every year (which was the production we took in today), and seeing everyone's reactions when they open their gifts on Christmas.

Thanks so much for reading guys! I hope you all have a great day, and I'll see you all again tomorrow.

First Line Friday: Carolina Breeze

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week! Mine has actually been pretty good. We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a...

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...

First Line Friday: A Sweethaven Romance

Happy Friday Friends :) I hope you're all enjoying the last little bit of summer. Are you sad to see summer come to an end, or are you looking forward to fall? I personally love fall and it's my all time favorite season. However, I always find the changing of the seasons a tad bittersweet, although I'm very much looking forward to all the wonderful things fall brings with it. For today's post, I'm excited to be linking up again with Hoarding Books for another edition of First Line Friday. First Line Friday is a fun, weekly blog meme that simply consists of sharing the first line from the book you're currently reading. For the last little while, I've been trying to focus on reading the many books I've added to my kindle over the last couple of years that I'd never got around to reading, and I've discovered many amazing books in the process. Today's first line comes from the book I most recently started reading on my kindle. A Sweethaven Rom...
