Blogmas Day Fifteen: All About My #TBTBSanta

Hello Everyone :)

I hope you're all having a great day, and I want to thank you for joining me for the fifteenth day of Blogmas here on the Preppy Book Princess.

I mentioned awhile back that I was once again participating in the Broke and the Bookish Secret Santa this year. I had such a fun experience last year that I knew I wanted to take part again this year.

I had so much fun putting together the package for my person, and I definitely plan on sharing with you guys in a later post what I included in the package I sent out, but my person hasn't received it yet and I don't want to spoil anything for them. However, my package came in the mail a couple of days ago, and I got completely spoiled. My person this year was the lovely blogger from the blog Exploring All Genres, and I completely loved everything she sent, and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you guys.

First things first, she wrapped all the gifts in Disney wrapping paper. How amazing is that? I love Disney so much, and it was so sweet of her to wrap everything in such amazing paper.

This was my huge haul of goodies!! I still can't believe myself just how many fabulous things were included in the awesome package she sent out!

For candy, she included a bag of assorted Lindor chocolates, which I love and never buy myself, so that was definitely an exciting treat. She also included a bag of delicious looking mint m and m's, and a bag of chocolate balls that she tucked into this adorable tin that I can't wait to use.

Next, for goodies she included an adorable coffee mug that features three reindeer on it, and it's the perfect size for a cup of tea or hot chocolate. She included a lotion that's supposed to work wonders for dry skin, and that's definitely appreciated by me since my raynaud's disease means my hands get dryer in the winter than most people's do. I completely love the gorgeous winter forest three wick candle she included, and I definitely plan on burning this when we have Neil's family over for Christmas. I can't even describe how much I love the beautiful Christmas socks, as fair isle and reindeer are two of my absolute favorite things ever. I mentioned in my questionaire that I love owls, and so she included an adorable owl tree ornament that I'm currently debating which of my two trees to put it on. Lastly she included a fun word search book, and these absolutely gorgeous planner stickers that I can't wait to place in my 2018 planner!!

And of course, most exciting of all is the three amazing books she picked from my wishlist.

Luminary by Krista McGee: I've been wanting to read this series for forever, as I don't think I've ever read a Christian dystopian before, and I'll definitely be diving into this one soon.

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas: I can't even describe how ecstatic I was to unwrap this one. I've heard sooooo many amazing things about it, and it'll probably end up being one of my first reads of 2018.

Lastly, Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch has my contemporary loving self so excited it's not even funny. I pretty much already know I'm going to love this book, and it's another one that I can't wait to dive into it headfirst!

All in all, I can't even begin to express how amazing the package was that my lovely Santa sent out. I've been completely spoiled, and I love absolutely every item.

Thanks so much Exploring All Genres! This year's #TBTBSanta was another fantastic experience!

Thanks so much for reading guys! And I'll see you all tomorrow for another day of Blogmas. :)

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
