Happy Wednesday Friends :)
I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.
I recently had the opportunity to pick up the most recent release from another one of my all time favorite authors, and I could barely bring myself to put this one down!
The story is amazing, and is definitely sticking with me after finishing it.
Today I can't wait to tell you guys all about this one, and I hope you'll keep on reading for my full review.

CIA analyst Brynn Taylor developed a new program to combat terrorism, and she invited members of foreign intelligence agencies to America to foster cooperation between countries. Now one of them, Egyptian spy Remon Riad, is missing.
Jack Hudson has been working for the Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency (SNAP) for almost nine years and takes the lead in hunting down the missing spy. But he isn't at all pleased to find out Brynn is involved. It's hard to trust a woman who's already betrayed you.
Every lead they follow draws them dangerously deeper into an international plot. Kidnapping, murder, explosions, poisoning--the terrorists will do anything to accomplish their goal of causing a digital blackout that will blind a strategic US military communications center and throw the world into chaos.
Can Brynn surrender control to a man who doesn't trust her? And can Jack ever get over what she did to him? The fate of the world--and their hearts--hangs in the balance.

My Review:
Natalie Walters has quickly become one of my favorites within the Christian suspense genre, and fellow devourers of this genre are definitely not going to want to miss out on Lights Out, the first book in her brand new The SNAP Agency trilogy. I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into this one, but I was quickly pulled into the developing story, and easily grew to love this new cast of characters that really grew to feel like old friends by the time I finished the story.
I enjoyed that this one is a second chance romance, and also enjoyed the fact for most of the story, the romance actually takes a back seat to the impending terrorism threat that Brynn Taylor must work to dismantle with her ex Jack Hudson, and his team from the SNAP Agency. The stakes are high, the threats are real, and the team may have stumbled upon something more dastardly than they ever could have expected.
I personally loved how the author used the high stakes to emphasize that we can't ever handle these things alone, and faith in our Mighty Savior is always the only way through it. I also surprised myself by loving every single character on the SNAP team, and I truly can't wait to read each of their upcoming stories. However, I must agree with the general consensus that Kekoa was the absolute best, and made a great story an ever better one in my opinion. I loved his never ending enthusiasm, and his positive outlook on any situation they manage to find themselves in.
This book was everything I've come to know and love from Natalie Walters, and is an explosive start to her new series. I definitely recommend this one to anyone who is a fan of Christian suspense. I have to add one last tidbit and state that this book heavily reminded me of one of my all time favorite TV shows, Sue Thomas FB Eye, and I loved that! I definitely cannot wait to continue on with reading the rest of the series, and I truly think the author hit it out of the ball park once again!
Final Rating: 5/5.
