A Forever Kiss in Silver Leaf Falls by D.E. Malone Review

 Happy Friday Bookish Friends :)

I pray today finds you all doing well, and I want to thank you for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.

It's been a little bit of a crazy week for me, and I've appreciated even more the precious time I've been able to sit down with a great book.

I recently finished an upcoming title that I ended up adoring, and today I'm here to share with you all my full review of it.

A Forever Kiss in Silver Leaf Falls by D.E. Malone:

Source: Complimentary Copy Provided by the Author

Publication Date: November 19th, 2021

Genre: Clean Romance/Sweet Romance

Series: Silver Leaf Falls

Synopsis:

He can’t wait to leave. She’s searching for a way to stay.
Neither of them is looking for love.

Down-on-her-luck artist Andi Vandermeer leaves New York City and heads to Silver Leaf Falls. With her young son in tow and a nest egg all but depleted, Andi’s only good fortune so far is the job cleaning the Starlight Motel in exchange for a rent-free room. When the local college downsizes the arts program and her hope of teaching ceramics disappears, catching a break seems as likely as her new boss letting her keep her room.

Reese Evers comes home to oversee his parents’ iconic motel during his father’s health crisis. His plan to stay just long enough to get his dad back on his feet is stymied by the long list of repairs needed to the hotel. He doesn’t count on the charming but mysterious Andi living in Room 7.

A surprise offer across the country might be the break Andi’s looking for, and Reese is counting down the days until he can leave Silver Leaf Falls behind. Can they both discover they are right where they belong?

Return to Silver Leaf Falls, Vermont and enjoy the friendships, love, and happily-ever-afters in this sweet, small town romance.

My Review:

I came into this one without having read the other books in the Silver Leaf Falls series, but seeing as how D.E. Malone has quickly become one of my favorite authors in the last while, I couldn't wait to dive right into it.

I love how this author always writes straight from the heart, and I know no matter which of her books I choose to pick up, I'll quickly encounter a heartwarming read that will leave me thinking about it long after I've finished it, and A Forever Kiss in Silver Leaf Falls was definitely no exception. I also didn't end up feeling like I missed anything of this story by not reading the previous books in the series.

I quickly found myself wrapped up in the story, and was easily immersed in all the struggles that Andi finds herself carrying on a day to day basis. Dillion was adorable, and such an added bonus to the story. I loved the important role he plays in Reese and Andi's relationship progressing into something more, and I think the author truly nailed the single parent romance trope in this beautiful read.

Perhaps my favorite part of all though was that everything felt completely realistic and probable. The romance developed at the perfect pace, there wasn't unnecessary drama that would have made the story less believable, and I loved how all the relationships both Andi and Reese form with the surrounding townspeople perfectly blended in with the rest of the story.

This beautiful, contemporary clean romance was everything I could have possibly wanted, and I'm now looking forward to reading more of the books in this new to me series. I can't recommend it enough, and D.E. Malone continues to blow me away with her heartfelt small town romances.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much to D.E. Malone for allowing me to advance read and review this!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)
