Books I'm Currently Reading ;)

Hey Guys,

I'm finally back from vacation, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things on my blog.

I will definitely be back to my regular posting schedule of Monday, Wednesday and Friday soon, but as we just arrived home yesterday, I'm currently recovering from a nasty head cold, and trying to catch up on the piles and piles of housework that ten days away generated, it might take me a few days to be able to do so.

I definitely plan on sharing some vacation highlights with you all, and also share the haul of the various amazing things I brought back with me, but today I'm going to simply be sharing the books I'm currently reading. :)

I definitely didn't read as much on vacation as I had planned to, but I am reading some pretty amazing books right now, and I hope this post inspires some of you to give these awesome books a chance.

1) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare:

I am honestly loving this book, despite the fact that it's taking me forever to finish it. This is simply because I keep having either library books or arcs that I need to finish first, and it keeps getting pushed on the back burner. I think part of me actually likes The Infernal Devices even more than The Mortal Instruments, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how this series ends.

2) Kingdom Keepers The Return: Legacy Of Secrets by Ridley Pearson:

It's no secret just how much I love this book series set in the Disney theme parks. At first I wasn't sure when I heard Ridley Pearson was writing this spin off series, but these books have definitely gotten rid of all my inhibitions, and I love getting to be back in The Kingdom Keepers world.

3) A Gift To Remember by Melissa Hill:

I always enjoy Melissa Hill's sweet contemporaries, and so far, this adorable story about a woman who accidentally hits a man with her bike, and starts to fall for the person she's imagined him to be during this recovery, is definitely not an exception.

4) My Hope Next Door by Tammy L. Gray:

This is my first experience with a Tammy L. Gray novel, but it definitely won't be my last. I love how this inspirational novel focuses on two people who don't feel good enough for their faith, and the way they learn to overcome this obstacle together. I'm almost finished this one, and I'm highly enjoying it.

5) A Will, A Way, and A Wedding by Melody Carlson:

This one has been a highly anticipated read for me, and I'd been on the waiting list at the library for what felt like forever. This is the fourth and final installment in the Dear Daphne series, and I honestly can't wait to see how Melody Carlson chooses to end Daphne's story.

6) The Shop On Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber:

It will probably come as no shock to anyone, that after finally starting The Blossom Street series by Debbie Macomber, I'm completely loving it. This first book in the series focuses on a group of four vastly different women who come together for a knitting class in a new yarn store, and it already has me completely glued to the pages. I can't wait to continue on with this series.

And that's it for the books I'm currently reading guys! I'd love to hear which books you're all currently reading, as I love getting new recommendations from fellow bookish people.

Hope you're all having a fabulous week, and thanks so much for reading!

I will see you all back here soon!

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
