The Disney Tag :)

I had so much fun doing my last Disney post, that I decided that today's post was going to be a Disney post as well.

I've mentioned many times before how much I LOVE doing Tags, and I've had so much fun taking part in all the book tags I've done.

So when I stumbled upon this Disney tag, I thought it might be a lot of fun to do a tag that isn't a book tag, and get to share some of my favorite Disney things with all of you guys in the process.

I'm not sure who's original tag this is unfortunately, but I found it from beingmommywithstyle on Youtube, and here's a link to her video here

I'm excited to go ahead and get started, and I'd love to hear from any of you guys that have done this tag as well!

1) A Scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience?

This could be one of so many for me, but I definitely am going to have to go with the lantern scene from Tangled. I love this scene so much, that when Neil and I got married in 2013, I chose to walk down the aisle to "I See The Light."

2) An Unforgettable Experience/Moment You've Had In The Parks?

Once again, I could literally choose from so many different ones, but I'm definitely going to have to go with when Neil proposed at Cinderella's Royal Table. I still get teary eyed thinking about this, and I can't believe how much trouble he went to ask me at my most favorite place.

3) What non-Disney song(s) reminds you/brings back memories of Disney and/or the parks?

For some reason "Fireflies" by Owl City always reminds me of Disneyland, even though I'm pretty sure the song wasn't released the last time I even went there. I think it's just because it always seems like such a happy song to me, and so it naturally reminds me of my happy place.

4) When was the first time you went to a Disney Park?

I went to Disneyland in 1999, and it started my obsession with the Disney Parks! Since then I've only come to love them more and more, and I'll forever be looking forward to the next trip!

5) If you could choose any Disney character to be your best friend, who would you chose?

Probably Tiana! She's exactly the kind of gal I'd like to spend my time with, and I'd love for her to teach me how to make her famous gumbo!

6) Who are your favorite Disney princesses?

My all time favorite is Ariel :) After her, I also really love Tiana and Rapunzel.

7) Name a scene/moment in a Disney movie that never fails to make you cry?

Toy Story 3! I wasn't prepared for how much this movie was going to affect me, and I definitely wasn't prepared for the tears. I still loved it though!

8) What is the first Disney movie you remember seeing?

I remember seeing Beauty and The Beast in the theater when I was about three years old. I was traumatized when the Beast started turning back into Prince Adam, and I remember bawling my little eyes out because of it.

9) What is your favorite Disney movie?

I can't possibly pick just one, but lately it's definitely been Frozen. One of my all time favorites is The Little Mermaid and I also really love The Princess Diaries.

10) Who is your favorite Disney villain?

I'd have to say Malificent, she's outrageously spooky!

11) What is your least favorite Disney movie?

There isn't a whole lot of Disney movies I haven't liked, but I remember not being too excited over Home On The Range, when I saw it, and I also seem to be one of the few that didn't love Inside Out. I thought it was cute, but it definitely wasn't a favorite for me.

12) What is your favorite Disney song?

This one would be a toss up for me between "A whole new world" or " I see the light."

13) What Disney character(s) has your personality or your dream personality?

This is a harder one to answer, but I'd say Belle has a lot of my personality because we're both bookworms, and both willing to do whatever it takes to help our family. As for my dream personality, I think I'd say Tiana, because I love how she never gives up, and is always willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her dreams.

14) If you could change any scene in a Disney movie, what would it be and why?

I would have changed the scene where Tadashi dies in Big Hero 6. I know it wouldn't have been as practical to the story, but I really hated that scene.

15) If you had to get stuck on any in any Disney park for more than 30 minutes, which one would you want it to be?

This has actually happened to me on Splash Mountain at Disneyland, and that's definitely the one I would have chosen. We were stuck at one of the outside parts, and the sun was shining beautifully, and I found it really relaxing just sitting there listening to the awesome soundtrack playing from "Song of the South."

And since beingmommywithstyle included a few WDW fun extras in her video, I thought I would on my post too.

1) Favorite Theme Park?

The Magic Kingdom definitely! Neil and I always seem to end up spending the most amount of time here, and while I love all four parks, there's just something about the Magic Kingdom that makes it the most special to me. :)

2) Favorite WDW Ride?

There's so many amazing ones to choose from, but my all time favorite is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It just wasn't the same on our last trip with it being closed the entire time.

3) Favorite Disney Dining?

I'd probably say Tusker House or Mama Melrose are my two current favorites. This does tend to change for me though, as my favorite for many years was Cinderella's Royal Table, but I wasn't a fan of the menu change on our last trip, and I'm not sure we will be eating here on our next trip. We might wait a couple of years before going back there again.

And those are all my Disney favorites! I had so much fun doing this tag guys, and I thank you all so much for reading.

I tag all of you guys who also love Disney to give this tag a try, and please let me know if you do, as I would love to read it :)

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest...

First Line Friday: The Inheritance

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all had a great week and that you're staying safe no matter where you are. I haven't been leaving my house much lately other than for work, and because of this, I've had lots of reading time on my hands. Last year my hubby and I took a road trip that included a visit to our favorite bookstore, and we decided to each pick a book that wouldn't be our first choice. The purpose was to try and read something that still interested us, but would maybe be a bit different than what we would typically go for first. My pick ended up being The Inheritance by Michael Phillips, a book I actually ended up being quite excited about, despite never having heard of it prior. Unfortunately, it ended up sitting on my bookshelf ever since, and I'm so thankful I finally got the opportunity to pick it up and start reading it this past week. The Inheritance by Michael Phillips: About the Book: The death of the clan patriarch h...

First Line Friday: Remembering the Cowboy by Mandi Blake

Happy Friday Friends :) There's so many reasons I'm excited that it's once again Friday. I'm excited to be taking part in another edition of First Line Friday hosted by Hoarding Books , but I'm also excited to be featuring one of my favorite author's new releases for this week's edition. First Line Friday simply consists of sharing the first line from the book you're currently reading, and today I'm going to be sharing from Mandi Blake's new book, which released last week. Remembering the Cowboy by Mandi Blake: About the Book: They have unfinished business. She just can’t remember what it is. Camille Vanderbilt is headed back home to Wyoming with one goal: find her old best friend and give him a piece of her mind for ghosting her six years ago. She won’t let anyone stand in her way… until a deer runs into the road and causes her to wreck and forget almost everything. Noah Harding lives a simple life as a firefighter and rancher until Camille cras...
