Raising Honor by Jill Lynn Review

Happy Wednesday Friends :)

I hope you're all doing well, and I want to thank you all for joining me for another book review here on The Preppy Book Princess.

How has your week been going so far? Mine seems to be speeding by as I've had lots of things to get done, and I've got many things still happening through the rest of the week.

Since it's been so nice and warm outside the past few days, I've been taking advantage of reading outside, and I recently finished an amazing Love Inspired title that I couldn't wait to talk about with all of you guys.

I've reviewed previous titles in the Colorado Grooms series, and you can find those here, here, here and here.

My Review:

Jill Lynn is my all time favorite Love Inspired author, and she just gets better and better with each and every book. After finishing Her Hidden Hope, I couldn't wait to see Charlie get her own story, and this heartwarming, faith filled romance definitely did not disappoint.

One of my favorite aspects of every title in the Colorado Grooms is the way that children play a big part of the story. In this particular title, Honor is a five year old, sweet little girl who hasn't had the easiest life, and she quickly wrapped my heart around her little fingers. I loved the fact that Jill Lynn chose to make this story about fostering and adoption, and I thought she did a beautiful job of showcasing the entire process in a way that was believable and realistic. It was heartwarming that Honor is the reason that Charlie and Ryker got together in the first place, and I appreciated that the timeline seemed realistic, and was never rushed or represented as insta love.

It takes a truly talented author to be able to give a couple with such a rocky start a HEA, and I can't possibly stress enough for much I love this talented lady's books. I love how this romance pulled at the heartstrings, and focused around needing to overcome insecurities by realizing that through Him you are always enough.

The only disappointing part is the fact that I now have to wait far too long for another book by this author.

Definitely go ahead and give this one a try if you're a fan of beautiful, faith filled romances! I highly enjoyed it, and I know I'm going to be rereading this entire series in the future.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much to Jill Lynn for allowing me to read and review this.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Have a great rest of your day :)

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often.
