Blogmas Day 10: What Gifts I'm Giving For Christmas Part One

Welcome To Blogmas Day Ten Guys!

I hope you're all having a great December so far, I know I definitely am, despite the fact that my days are getting busier and busier.

I was thankful this year that I was able to get all my Christmas shopping completely done by the first week of December, and I thought that for today's post, I would like to share some of the gifts I'm giving the amazing ladies in my family.

I do plan on doing a couple more of these posts, so for today I'm only going to share the gifts for people that I know either won't be reading my blog, or that will already have opened their gifts by the time this post goes up.

I can't wait to share this with y'all, so let's go ahead and get started. :)

Books always seem to be gifts that I end up giving to other people for Christmas. As I'm obviously a huge booklover myself, it definitely makes sense that I have a lot of other book loving people in my lives.

I was able to grab An Amish Christmas Gift and Pretty Crooked from Book Outlet during their Black Friday Sale. I also got The Coldest Girl In Cold Town for a great price from the Bargain table at Chapters. Lastly, I purchased Mail Order Mommy as a gift for my best friend, since we both love Harlequin's Love Inspired novels.

I also love giving bath products for Christmas, especially the holiday themed ones, and I thought this little set from the Body Shop was adorable, and will make a great stocking stuffer.

You can find this particular set here

I didn't remember to take a picture of a couple other things I picked up at this same time, but I also grabbed a leather bound journal with an inspirational quote and some metallic pencil crayons to go with it for a friend of mine, and it was one of my favorite gifts I'm giving this year actually.

Bath Sets are one of mother in law's favorite things to receive at Christmas, so we almost always end up buying her one as part of her gift, and I really liked this beautiful one we found at Shoppers Drug Mart.

My mom and my sister are both huge tea drinkers, just like myself, so I grabbed a couple of different flavors to give as stocking stuffers.

I stumbled upon this beautiful pair of earrings while out Christmas shopping one day, and I knew I had to grab them for my mom as well.

My mom is also a huge fan of Stormie Omartian's Power Of A Praying devotional series, and so I knew when I saw that this new one was being released in time for Christmas, that I definitely had to grab it for her.

Lastly, I happened to be at Bath and Body Works while their hand lotions were on sale for four dollars each, and so I grabbed a ton of them to give out as stocking stuffers. After all, who doesn't love lotion in the winter when everyone's hands get so dry.

Lastly, here's how I wrapped some of these goodies, and I can't wait to give these out to my favorite ladies very soon!

I thank you guys so much for reading, and I'll see you all tomorrow for Blogmas Day Eleven :)

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
