Blogmas Day Fifteen: Gifts From My #TBTBSANTA

Welcome to Blogmas Day Fifteen Everyone :)

Today's post is definitely one of the most exciting posts for me so far. If you recall last month I had posted that I was taking part in The Broke and The Bookish's Secret Santa exchange this year, or the #TBTBSanta, as it's come to be known. I had shopped and mailed my package out at the start of December (and I will be doing a post on what I included in mine in the future), and ever since I've been anxiously awaiting for mine to arrive.

Yesterday I was out Christmas shopping with my sister, and when I got home, my package was sitting on our doorstep, and I literally couldn't wait to tear into it.

My Santa this year was Lynne from the blog Words Of Mystery and she was the best Santa ever. I got completely spoiled, and I had so much fun getting to talk to her on Twitter as we definitely seem to have similar reading preferences. Here's all the goodies that were included in my box. :)

I had mentioned in my original email that I love collecting bookmarks, and so she got me these adorable Toronto themed ones, and also an Erin Condren card that I will definitely also be using as a bookmark. She also included a pile of Hershey's Kisses, a delicious looking candy cane, and these gorgeous macaroon cookies; all of which look delicious and I can't wait to devour. She also included a Christmas pocketback from Bath and Body Works, and a beautiful Christmas Card with such a sweet message wrote out into it.

She included two books from my Wishlist, and then included an ARC copy of another book she thought I'd enjoy. The ARC copy of The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts definitely made me squeal as I've been wanting to read this ever since I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Brown Roberts at RT Booklovers back in April.

Lastly she included this milk bath from a Canadian bath store, and I can't wait to try this out.

I can't thank Lynne enough for all of these gorgeous gifts, and I know they will definitely be put to good use in the upcoming weeks!

I had so much fun participating in this Santa exchange, and I highly encourage any of you guys to give it a try next year! You can find more out about it here

Thanks so much for reading guys, and I will see you all here tomorrow for Blogmas Day Sixteen!

This is not a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. The photos were taken by me with my Iphone.

First Line Friday: Carolina Breeze

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you're all having a great week! Mine has actually been pretty good. We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
