Blogmas Day 19: Five Books I'd Love To See Santa (Or My Hubby) Leave Under The Christmas Tree

Happy Monday Guys! And Welcome To Blogmas Day Nineteen:

I can't believe we're only six days away from Christmas! I'm looking so forward to spending quality time with my hubby, friends and family, and I can't wait to see everyone open the gifts that I had so much fun picking out for them. I also can't wait to celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I know I already included a post earlier this month on my Christmas Wishlist, but I still thought it would fun today to share a few of the books I would love to see under the tree on Christmas morning.

I know there's that one saying that's always circulating around book blogs and whatnot that states "whoever says I'm hard to shop for must not know where to buy books;" and this is definitely true for me, as I'm always extremely excited and thankful for any gifts I receive, but books are definitely what I usually find myself wanting the most.

Here's the one's I'd love to see under the tree:

1) His Eyes by Renee Carter:

I've been wanting this one for what feels like forever, and I'm pretty sure my husband got really sick of hearing me talk about it.

2) Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo:

While I have yet to finish the Grisha trilogy yet, I still really want this novel. I love Leigh's writing style, and I've heard so many good things about it.

3) Heartless by Marissa Meyer:

Ahh words cannot describe how excited I am to read this book. Marissa is one of my all time favorite authors, and her fairy tale retellings are definitely my favorite of all time. I've heard so many good things about this book, and I can't wait to finally get to read it.

4) From The Start by Melissa Tagg:

I read the prequel novella to this series a couple of months ago, and ever since I've been dying to read more about the Walker family. I love inspirational fiction, and I really want to continue on with the rest of this series.

5) Tiny Pretty Things by Sonia Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton:

This is the last book i'm going to include here today, and has been one that I've had my eye on for quite some time. I think my wanting this book started after I watched the movie High Strung and was just really craving reading a YA book about ballet. If I don't receive this one for Christmas, I'm pretty sure I'll be picking it up myself afterwards.

Of course there's a ton of other books I'd be perfectly happy to receive this Christmas, but I didn't want this list to get tedious and boring. I thank you guys all for reading, and I'll see you back here tomorrow for Blogmas Day 20!

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
