Blogmas Day Two: My Christmas Wishlist

Welcome To The Second Day Of Blogmas Guys!

Christmas shopping is always one of my favorite things to do, as there's just something so exciting about shopping for that perfect gift for everyone on my list.

Plus guys, let's just be honest, I have a Christmas problem period.

I've always been more about giving rather than receiving, as that's what the Christmas season is about for me. But there is something exciting about making your Christmas wishlist each year, and since for as many years as I can remember I've loved reading these blog posts from everyone else, and watching these videos on youtube, for today's post I thought I would go ahead and share my Christmas wishlist for 2016.

Now obviously I don't actually expect to receive all/and or/ any of these things, but it was fun to make this list, and I'm excited to share it with all of you.

My Christmas Wishlist 2016:

1)Holiday Fair Isle Reading Socks from Indigo:

I know these socks are slightly on the expensive side, and some would probably argue that you don't need specific socks for reading, but I absolutely love how gorgeous these are. Plus my feet are always cold, and the thought of being able to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea with my feet happily toasty warm in these socks sounds like the perfect winter's night to me.

If interested, find them here

2) Eat Like A Gilmore: The Unofficial Cookbook For Fans Of Gilmore Girls by Krisi Carlson:

Not gonna lie guys, When I found out about this cookbook I literally squealed. Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite TV shows of all time (although I haven't watched the Year In The Life yet as we're binge watching the seasons first), and combining my love of that with my love of cooking is a win win in my eyes.

Find it here

3) A Plaid Blanket Poncho From Eclipse:

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with plaid. This poncho is gorgeous, and also looks extremely warm which is always a bonus for someone like me who's always freezing.

find it here

4) Heartless by Marissa Meyer:

I cannot wait to read this book, and it's definitely my most anticipated read this year. I'm seriously hoping this one will be under the Christmas tree this year.

5) Any Love Inspired Novels:

I love The Love Inspired Series by Harlequin, and I always love getting to read new ones. This is always something I ask for for Christmas, and this year is no different.

6) The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette from Sephora:

I've wanted this eye palette since it first came out a few years ago, it's such a gorgeous match up of colors, and the packaging couldn't be any more adorable!

Find it here

And of course I want to mention my number one wish for the Christmas season this year, and that is getting to spend quality time with my hubby, my family, and my friends celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thanks so much for reading guys, and I'll see you all tomorrow for Blogmas Day 3!!

We've had some really nice days, and my husband and I were finally able to put our garden in, and various flowers and the like. We've also had a couple of lovely, rainy days as well, and I love how green everything is looking in our yard right now. For today's post, I'm excited to once again be linking up with the lovely Hoarding Books  for another edition of First Line Friday. This fun weekly meme simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. For this week's first line, I'm going to be sharing from Denise Hunter's recently released title that I ended up absolutely loving. Carolina Breeze by Denise Hunter: About The Book: A jilted bride. A struggling innkeeper. And a romantic mountain getaway that changes everything. Rising Hollywood star Mia Emerson is looking for a safe place to land in the wake of a public breakup a

First Line Friday: Courting Mr. Emerson

Happy Friday Everyone :) Since it is Friday, I'll once again be participating in First Line Friday which is hosted by Hoarding Books .  For this week, I'm going to be sharing the first line from Melody Carlson's newest book, Courting Mr. Emerson. About The Book: When the fun-loving and spontaneous artist Willow West meets buttoned-up, retired English teacher George Emerson, it's not exactly love at first sight. Though she does find the obsessive-compulsive man intriguing. Making it her mission to get him to loosen up and embrace life, she embarks on what seems like a lost cause--and finds herself falling for him in the process. A confirmed bachelor, George vacillates between irritation and attraction whenever Willow is around--which to him seems like all too often. He's not interested in expanding his horizons or making new friends; it just hurts too much when you lose them. But as the summer progresses, George feels his defenses crumbling. The quest
