Blogmas Day 8: All I Want For Christmas Book Tag

Happy Thursday Guys!

Welcome to Blogmas Day 8 :)

Can you believe we're already into the second week of Blogmas? That's so crazy, and I'm so thankful that I've already got all my Christmas shopping done as the stores just seem to be getting crazier and crazier by the minute.

I knew when I first decided to do Blogmas that I definitely would want to do at least one Christmas book tag, as there's some truly awesome ones out there, and I thought that would be perfectly fitting for today.

So today I'm going to be doing the "All I Want For Christmas Book Tag," which was created by A Thousand Lives Of Daisy on Booktube, and you can find her original video here

This one sound so fun to do, and so let's go ahead and get started.

1) What Fictional Character Do You Want Santa To Leave Under The Christmas Tree?

Definitely Etienne St.Clair from Anna and The French Kiss. I'm not too sure my hubby would be okay with this however, so also Jo March from Little Women as I think her and I would be besties.

2) What Character Do You Want To Kiss Under The Mistletoe?

Umm, I'd probably actually be repetitive here and say Etienne again, but because I feel I should at try and mix it up, I'm going to go with Maxon from The Selection.

3) You Write Your Christmas List For Santa, What Are The Top 5 Books On It?

Definitely Heartless by Marissa Meyer as I'm dying to read this one.
His Eyes by Renee Carter, as it's been on my wish list forever
Tiny Pretty Things by Dhonielle Clayton and Sonia Charaipotra
Sandy Toes by Robin Jones Gunn, and
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

4) It's Secret Santa at Hogwarts, What do you most want to receive?

I know they're a little hard to come by, but I'd love a time turner. Despite it's setbacks, I'm sure it could come in really handy.

5) You Get To Spend The Day With The Characters and Movie Adaptation Actors From One Fandom, What Do You Pick?

The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. I know the movie definitely had it's problems, but I thought Lilly and Jamie were the ideal Clary and Jace, and the casting is one reason I am not a fan of the Shadowhunters TV show at all.

6) What fictional animal would you want to replace Rudolph and meet on your roof?

Not quite sure this is what the question meant, but I'd love to have Aslan from The Chronicles Of Narnia.

7) You Invite Ten Fictional Character To Your New Year's Eve Party, Who Do You Pick?

Cinder, Anna Oliphant, Etienne St. Clair, Prince Kai, Daemon Black and Katy, Juliette and Warner from Shatter Me, and Caymen and Xander from The Distance Between Us.

8) What Character Would Make A Good Santa? (Doesn't have to be appearance, personality counts too).

Adrian from Bloodlines. Somehow I know this combination would just be hilarious.

Honestly guys this was one of the funnest tags I've ever done, and I tag any of you who wants to do it. And please let me know if you do.

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 9. :)

This is not a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. The photo was taken by me with my Iphone.

Della and Darby by Susannah B. Lewis Review

Happy Monday Friends :) I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you decided to stop by my little corner of the internet. My husband and I actually have this week off of work for a much needed holiday, and I'm excited for the many fun things we have planned. Aside from the fun things, I'm honestly thankful to have some extra time to get my house back in shape, and to get more organized for Christmas. I also hope to have lots of time to curl up with some great reads, and I recently had a chance to read one of my most anticipated 2023 releases! Earlier in the year, I read my first novel by Susannah B. Lewis, and I couldn't have loved it more. It was definitely one of my favorite reads of this entire year, and I've been looking forward to reading her next release ever since. If you'd like to check out that review, you can do so using the link below: Bless Your Heart Rae Sutton Otherwise, keep on reading down below for today's full review. De...

First Line Friday: The Joy of Falling

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you've had time to curl up with some great books. This week, Lindsay Harrel's newest book released, and I loved it when I had the chance to read and review it. I'm excited to feature it for this week's First Line Friday post which is hosted by the lovely ladies over at Hoarding Books. The Joy of Falling by Lindsay Harrel: About The Book: Eva and Angela must learn to live again. One step at a time. It has been fifteen months since Eva and Angela lost their thrill-seeking husbands in a scuba diving accident. Both women are trying to navigate their way through the grief, but neither one is making much progress. Angela is barely making ends meet, angry at her husband for leaving her to raise three children on her own. Meanwhile, Eva is stuck, unable to move forward after losing the love of her life and her source of inspiration. But then Eva gets a life-changing phone call. Befor...

First Line Friday: All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes

Happy Friday Everyone :) I hope you've all had a great week, and that you're looking forward to the weekend. Today I'm excited to once again be linking up with Hoarding Books for First Line Friday. First Line Friday is one of my favorite weekly memes, and it simply consists of sharing the first line of the book you're currently reading. I've had a lot of extra reading time on my hands lately because of all the social distancing, and as such, I've been able to read a lot of the titles that have been sitting on my shelves for quite some time. Today's book is one of such titles, and I'm happy that I finally found the time to get to it as I'm really enjoying it so far. All's Fair in Love and Cupcakes by Betsy St. Amant: About the Book: Kat inspected rows of the same old cupcakes. They seemed to blink back at her, as if they knew she was capable of so much more. Kat Varland has had enough of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. At twenty-six years old...
